Before we start, please note that we are NOT in any way affiliated with nor share any connection with any of the handful of other 'Studio Boo's that currently exist around the globe, let alone any 'Booze Studios', for that matter. Ahem...
In a nutshell, this particular antipodean Studio Boo! is dedicated to showcasing the comics and artwork of your gracious host, namely yrs truly, LoreNZo Van Der Lingen. My comics will be serialised in weekly installments, starting from today (Friday the 19th of October). The first comic will reproduce the promotional 'Thin Man' comic, as was sold at this weekend's 'Armageddon Expo' in Auckland (you may have found your way here if you bought one or nabbed a free postcard).
The Thin Man is a character who has been in gestation for more years than I care to admit, but suffice to say, he's been a man who has refused to stay in my frankly over-stuffed drawer of unfinished projects, so it is with considerable relief that he has finally seen the light of day. The only good thing that can be said for his long gestation is that I have ended up with a substantial amount of stories for him to cavort through. And, of course, his living shadow is a mystery which will slowly come to be revealed within these stories.
But wait, there's more! Along with The Thin Man, you can expect to meet many other characters in their own respective unrelated comics, so be sure to check back on a regular basis.
